The Solution

To stand out we knew this brochure needed personality. None of the competitors did things this way. Gulp started by looking at the existing, trusted logo. In addition to its origin meaning, to us, this also looked like a collection of smiles and this being a resource for products that bring joy, we worked on a concept that sells happiness.

We combined conversational style headline copywriting with a friendly, personality-full font. This is “where the big smiles come from” as a title was a big hit and has since been adopted for use across other items.

Illustrations

Part of The Source’s offering is space planning. How to fit promotional items into spaces where layout and flow is vital. Sketching this out initially, is the fastest way to come up with bespoke space solutions and ideas and so a sketch style of illustration was adopted for use throughout the brochure.

Integrating these sketches with actual product images helps to communicate the proposed reality.

Digital brochure

Once the print brochure design was agreed, we optimised a digital version that could be edited to create bespoke PDFs and emailed to prospects giving them a version focussed on their specific needs.
