The Brief
Following the completion of their new logo by Gulp Creative, The Knee Clinic Tunbridge Wells wanted a website to not only promote their business and introduce their staff but to provide patients with all the necessary forms and information required before surgery.
They also wanted to use the site to help people after surgery with educational advice on exercise. With a higher percentage of patients being older, it was important that navigation around the site was clear and easy to follow.

A clean bright website providing a clinical feel to subconsciously reassure patients exploring surgery options that The Knee Clinic operates to the highest standards.
Contact details remain as a constant throughout the site as does a search field helping to ensure users can find what they need or easily get in touch if they can’t.
Gulp also included a downloads page where important advice and consent forms can be accessed in either Word of PDF format.
News
Part of the requirement was to create a blog area where industry news could be posted highlighting events where their surgeons had attended and spoken.
Nested navigation
The navigation remains as a constant throughout the site. With a great deal of information available, layers of navigation was essential to ensure users don’t get lost or overwhelmed.
Locations
Working from such high spec locations requires more than just an address on a contact page. Each location has a little about the facility and equipment to reassure patients they are in good hands.
Patient Information Form
With that all important progress bar letting patients know where they are in the process and how much is left to complete. Providing users with this information means they are much more likely to complete the process. Everyone’s a winner.
