To come up with a logo and brand identity for Brighton Students’ Union. A flexible identity that would feel like part of a whole but would need to cover various sites spread out over Brighton, Sussex.

A frame to showcase the creativity at the centre of attention.
Brighton is well known for its creativity. Gulp spent a great deal of time researching and dismissing ideas for this project before we came up with this winning concept. Ultimately it was agreed that the most effective way to show off this fabulous area and all it offers would be to deliver an identity that simply offers to showcase or “frame” the part to be promoted. A flexible, vibrant colour scheme was established and a frame based around a silhouette of the letter ‘b’ was integrated. Text needs to remain adaptive to cover all areas and so rules were established on how the text area works for different wording.
